About West Central Rail

The West Central Railway came into being on 01 April 2003, whose headquarters are Jabalpur. Pamera was formed by joining the Central Rail Jabalpur, Bhopal Division and the Kota Division of Western Railway. This railway is the heart of Indian Railways because it includes the main road of Delhi-Mumbai Capital Road, Delhi-Chennai Trunk Road and Mumbai-Howrah route. This railway connects the northern region to the west and south region and connects the western region of India with the eastern region.

Pamera’s total track km 73 per cent in Madhya Pradesh, 25 per cent in Rajasthan and 2 per cent in Uttar Pradesh. The distribution of cement and kilnkar is done by the stations falling in the cement industry sector of Jabalpur Division- Jhukehi, Maihar, Satna, Damoh, Turkey Road, Hinawata Ramban and Boyohari and Kota Division’s Lakhri, Daddevi, Modak stations.
